My last weekend

This weekend was our last here in SUPP, it is sad, because I don't want to go back to Argentina. I had an amazing tome here.
We started on Friday when we went to de Dodgers' game, we learned some things about baseball. I loved the stadium and the game, it was a time very funny. Although the Dodgers lost the game. Then we saw the fireworks, they were incredible, I like them more than Disneyland show.
On satuday we had a really funny day, because we went to de Aunty Museum, to celebrate Cowboy and Cowgirl day. We learned abour the west and all their culture. WE WERE DRESS LIKE COWBOYS! is was so funny.
We have a visit in the museum, and we had lunch. Then we went to a mall, our last mall, where we made a lot of shopping and we went to have dinner.
In conclution, I loved this weekend, I did a lot of things, but now I am sad because I realized that it was my last one. :( I am going to miss SUPP.

My personal values

Contrasting with the American and Argentinean values today I am going to talk about my personal values. Maybe the main value in my life is the family togheterness, I think that my family is the most important thing in my life and it makes that I really appreciate them. This value is sharing with my country too, so it is not difficult to have this value in Argentina. I would do anything for my family. :)
But, also, I like to be independent sometimes, I thing that it is because of my age. Been a teenager makes me that I want to be separate of my parents and do things myself. It is difficult because it causes problems sometimes, but I think that it will change with the time.
Other importante value for me is to be friendly, because I think that all the things can be solve talking... For me is escencial that the people trust in me. I try to be polite and lovely with the people. My friendas are very important for me so, my relationship with them is relly especial.
In Argentina maybe it is not a huge value, because sometimes the people ar not so polite each other, is common to se people fighting in Argentina. sometimes is difficult to me to be priendly if the other person is not friendly too.
Finally I have one more value but I have to practice it, is to end the violence. It is difficult to practice it in Argentina, becuase, like I said, they are not very polite. But I know that it is important and I am going to try to do the best.
Those are my main values and I think that it is imporant for each other to have values that represent him/her.

Magic Weekend

This weekend was amazing, the best since we arrived. it started on Friday when we went to the Ontario Mill Outlet Mall, it is enormous! we bought a lot of things: clothes, shoes, jowels, etc.
We had nine hours to go shopping! I was the happiest woman all over the world ajajaja.
We ate in Burger and then we had dinner at D&B, it is a beatiful restaurant that has games and the people can play while they wait for the food. I won about 1800 points! It was so funny, I changed my points for a big felt-dog and I gave it to Julie, my friend, because it was her birthday. She was so happy!
Then we had a sorprise, to came back to APU in the PARTY-BUS, with music, neon lights and a lot of fun, I enjoyed it so much.
Yesterday we went to DISNEYLAND! I was so exciting because it was my first time in Disney, I really enjoyed it! It is a beatiful park, big and very organized. It has amazing games, rollercoasters, and more atractions. My favorite game was the Space Mountain, a big rollercoaster, it is AMAZING!
We went to a lot of games en then, at night we saw the fireworks' show, it is beatiful. But the most incredible thing that I saw yesterday was "Fantasmic", where Mickey is the main character. The show is a convination of music, images, fantasy and dreams.
In conclusion it was a beatiful, funny, amazing weekend, that I am never going to forget. I will remember it the rest of mi life !

American Culture Workshop

When you went to other country you learn about its culture, and this last week we werw taking classes about tha American culture.
We had two interesting clases: one about the time before bed, and other about the Saint Valentines' Day.
It was so funny, because all of our interns prepared great workshops for us.
The first one was the time before bed, ther made a big big BIG, "bed" for us and we took our pilows and they told us that is common in America that the parents read histories to their children before bed.
So Breeann and Ethan told us differents histories, about love, adventures, and other things.
Later we separate in groups and we red more books, it was nice! Finally we made a pillow's war! hahaha.
The second one was the Saint Valentine's Day, when we had to make some letters for our friends and classmates, and he learned about how theAmerican people celebrate this day. It was interesting because it is simmilar like in  Argentina. The people bring presents each other, like chocolates, teddy bears, roses.
Then, today, we had, Swing class, we learned the main steps and danced with our partners, IT WAS FUNNY!
I am really ejoing those class, they are very interesting and y can learn more about American culture.

Fresh and Easy

We went to Fresh and Easy like spies, to see what interestings things we can find, and to compare the productus with the american values, we could see that all de the food were pre-preparing food, so you do not have to cooke and no to dirty your kitchen.
We saw lot of interestings products, so big, because of that we can see that those kind of products make us to be cleaner  and not to make a lot of efford at moment of cooking.
So it is a different kind of supermarket where the people can buy more "comfortables" products, I thinks that the relationship beetwen those products and the idea of confortable is because maybe the people do not want to make a lot of efford, and Americans want the things "here and now".

I think that it was a really interesting experience because in Argentina we do not have supermarkets like that so I could see differences and similarities about Argentinian´s and American´s products.
Is incredible for me to be here learning about American culture, I liked go to Fresh and Easy and to saw more   about the American lifestyle, because in those products we could see reflect the personality of this society.
